There are two guidebooks for walkers, covering two of my favourite areas in Scotland. These were community-led projects, and go beyond being a list of directions. Check them out and read the reviews in the Walker’s Guide to Coigach & Assynt! The Kinlochbervie book is new, so you’ll just have to trust me that it’s worth picking up until it’s been reviewed in the press, but I’m very proud of both.
I spend a lot of time researching routes, and got frustrated trying to find a really good water bottle at a decent price, so I sourced my own to take with you on your adventures - they might look very similar to a top-name brand (for good reason), but the price is a little different… Pick one up and you’ll not regret it.
Pride of place is still reserved for the Photographing Scotland guidebook, which is perfect for anyone wanting to take their own photographs around Scotland. It’s topped the best sellers list, had exceptional feedback and was a dream project to work on. Photographers might also be interested in a wee lens cloth - I include one free with every copy of Photographing Scotland, but if you’ve already got the book and suffer from grimy lenses, these are cracking. They’re not sexy, but they get the job done.
Of course, if you’d rather order one of my own prints, that’s easily done! There are too many to list in the shop, but they’re available to order online direct from the gallery. Over 280 locations are described over almost 600 pages, with parking and accessibility information for every one of them.
