Questions?
No problem! If you can’t find the answers here, get in touch!
+ Do you do group shots?
Yes I do! I shoot most of the day candidly to capture you and your guests naturally, but your granny will still have a photo for the mantelpiece! Groups can easily take over a day though, so it’s best to try and keep the number fairly low if you can. I can help you figure out how to manage that if you want.
+ What about elopements?
As someone that loves sneaking away with his own partner for some quiet time in the Highlands and Islands, I can totally see the attraction in slinking off to get married without the fuss of a big wedding! There’s something beautifully intimate, and really quite free about it.
+ Are you insured?
Absolutely. You should be too.
+ Do you work alone?
Most of the time, aye. If it’s a particularly big wedding, or there’s lots going on all at once, then I have a few folks that can come and shoot alongside me. We can talk about that if you think it’s something you’d be interested in.
+ Aren’t you a landscape photographer?
I am! I love it. I also love shooting weddings, and don't see why I can't have my cake and eat it too.
+ How do I get my photographs?
I’ll send you a USB with the full resolution images once I’ve edited them. That normally takes about 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how busy I am (I’d rather do it right than rush it!). I also upload an online gallery that you can share with guests, and order prints from. Of course, you’ve got all the files and can arrange your own prints if you want!
+ Do you do albums?
Yes I do! They are a thing of beauty, too. I don’t include it in my standard package, but once you’ve received your photos we can chat about putting an album together.
